John Henry PEARCE

1944 - 2012

John passed away on February 15.

He was a pillar of his family, an encouraging leader, a generous host and a faithful believer in his Lord, our God. He was a man of purpose, fun and faith.

Dearly loved and missed by Rosemary, his wife of 44 years, his sons Antony and Jonathan, his daughters Beulah and Desiree, 2 precious grandchildren Matisse and Jesse, his brother Richard and family, his sister Wendy and family, as well as the families of Margaret and Kevin and many more friends and colleagues. He has left us stronger in our relationships, in our faith and in our hope.

We will not all sleep but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Johns life at 10 a.m. on Tuesday (February 21, 2012), at the Mausoleum Chapel in Rookwood Independent Cemetery.
