GOODIN, Doug

DOUG GOODIN

1923 - 2012
Aged 88 Years

A truly good man

Husband of his beloved JEANIE for 67 years. Treasured dad and father-in-law of DAVID and DEBORAH, DI and JOHN, LYN and BILL. Adored Poppa Doug of MARK, NATALIE, MATT, ALISSA, BELLA, ERIN, AMY and SARAH. Great grandfather of JARRAD, DJANGO, NATHAN and KATALINA. Beloved brother of DON and
LEN (dec`d).

We celebrate your wonderful life filled with purpose. A true gentleman, a leader and role model for many. Your care and kindness to your loved ones and to others, knew no bounds. You were always there with words of wisdom, encouragement, praise and support, but also a helping hand to many people and causes. Your respect and passion for the wonders of this earth, rocks, trees, flowers, animals and especially birds was amazing.
Sleep peacefully darling. You have loved and been loved without measure.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Laycock and the wonderful team at Hunter Valley Private Hospital for their love and devotion during Doug`s last weeks.

A Celebration of the Life of DOUG GOODIN will be held Monday 7th May, 2012 at 2pm in Wallsend Seventh Day Adventist Church, Macquarie College, cnr. Lake and Reservoir Rd. Elermore Vale.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gift of Sight, Fred Hollows Foundation can be made at the Service or by phone 1800 352 352 (in memory of Doug Goodin)
