SANDGREN, John

John SANDGREN

Passed away on Thursday, 14 November, 2013 in Temora & District Hospital. Late of Vista Avenue, Temora.

Beloved husband of Cheryl. Loving father and father-in-law of Kim and Dylan, Chris and Kerrie and Lauren and Henry. Loved Poppy of Abbey, Jack, Loken and Mia.

Aged 66 years.

"At Peace"

Relatives and friends of John were respectfully informed that a service celebrating his life was to be held in the Uniting Church, Temora commencing at 2.00pm on Thursday, 21 November, 2013 followed by interment in Temora Lawn Cemetery.

John was a great human being.

Wonderful, wry sense of humor with never a negative word to the world.

John was a friend to all, a strong and fierce competitor on the athletics track and a wonderful centre partner to have when we played together in the school`s Ist Grade Rugby team.

John always gave 100%, whether it be in his academic endeavors, his friendships or with his diverse array of sporting talents.

Mate - you will be missed by so  many.

As I have said before on many occasions, just so sad as John is such a wonderful person, adored Cheryl, great family man and ‘lover of life’ and never once in my 56 years of knowing him have I ever heard him say a bad word about anyone.  I am so fortunate to have known him for so long and in many respects he was like a brother to me, so I am going to miss him enormously, but I certainly do not want him to suffer anymore, as enough is enough.

We are so lucky with our lives on a day to day basis so dear friends make the most of every day and enjoy life to its fullest, and keep smelling the roses for Johnny Boy”.
