The members of Athletics International mourn the passing of their fellow member and
great Australian athlete and offer their condolences to her family.
Many athletes have been inspired by Shirley`s outstanding performances which have earned
her legendary status in the Athletics world.
She will be sadly missed.

DE LAHUNTY, (Strickland) Shirley. The management and staff of Charles Leski Auctions extend their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Shirley De Lahunty (Strickland). Shirley was a determined and inspirational woman who not ly helped to shape Australian athletics but whose social conscience influenced a great many people. She will be sadly missed.
