Sue Erica FEAR O.A
Aged 43 years, died in climbing accident on Mt. Manaslu, Nepal, May 28, 2006. Doing what she loved the most, climbing mountains.
If this was her fate, she requested to be entombed on the mountains where her
body could be with her spirit.
She was a tireless advocate for encouraging young women to pursue their dreams as she had done in life.
Sue was also an Ambassador for the Fred Hollows Foundation and Honorary Member of the Australian Himalayan Foundation.
Her loss will leave a large void in many people`s lives, none more than her two brothers Grahame and John, sister-in-law Anna and nieces Rebecca and
Rachel. A memorial will be held next week, for close friends and
family only.
Sue Fear passed away tragically on May 28, 2006, after reaching the summit
