Remember Glenda. I will always remember Glenda, her greeting was always with a hug, it expressed the friendship and love she had for all of us . Ole` Glenda. Love always Jan. L. 16/6/06.
Glenda will be sadly missed by all of her friends. We look at her photo at Vinnies and think what a waste.
Glenda was such a happy and vibrant person before she became ill last October.
She had been in great pain but now is in God`s hands and is at peace.
Love Always Carol and Bob O`Brien (24/06/2006)
I`ll also miss Glenda - her hugs of greeting, the Christmas cards from herself and Tipsy, her patience in instructing newer players at Croquet, her knowledge of all those rules! Barbie

HUGS
Hugs are not only nice they are needed
Hugs can relieve pain & depression
Make the happy hug today
Hugging feels good overcomes fear ease tensions
provides stretching excercise if you are short
and stooping excercise if you are tall
hugging does not upset the environment
saves heat & you don`t need a match
A hug is the perfect gift
One size fits all
it is bigger than your average shoe size
nobody minds if you exchange it
Impossible days made happier with a human hug
from sharyn
God`s garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God`s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He kew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine"
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn`t go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
Christmas-Boxing Day 2008
It`s been two & half years since our Glenda left us.Yesterday I could only reflect on previous years gone by.I cherish the 2004 & 2005 christmas lunch that I cooked-roast leg of lamb with roast potatoes pumpkin & peas & gravy oh yes Glenda really relaxed & enjoyed herself & tipsy did behave>glenda had tipsy so disciplined she ALWAYS BEHAVED>I haven"t been posting as I`ve been overseas in recent months but my memories & thinking of you have not waned.Whilst I was in South Africa I drove just under 11,000 k`s in a VW polo which Glenny you wouldn`t have approved well neither did I but had no choice as there was trouble with the Nissan Tiida`s.Knowing that you were a good driver you would have appreciated south africa`s roads. No `slaggate` affrikan for potholes. The ony province that I encounted them was in KwaZulu Natal when I was driving to the Cavern Resort in the Drakensberg Mountains truly a place of artistic landscape & stillness.I actually did some hiking & when I return in 2010 I will be fitter & will do more.If no-one has told you Manly won the grand final against Melbourne 40-0. I didn`t find out till 19/11 as my friend doesn`t have a computer at home & the internet in SA is limited at the moment.I haven`t seen the match but my work colleagues told me manly `smashed em` how sweet that is!!!! well glenny I have been so busy working since I `ve returned & haven`t had time to check with Libby to see how the black lab is doing.I last spoke with libby back in july & said I would like to see Tipsy sometime in early 2009......well luv gotta go as I`ve had a very big driving day 2day & have to work tomorrow miss you heaps wih you were here......sharyn
It`s 3 years since you left us Glenda, we all miss you.
You will be pleased to know I have at last started to play croquet, (only golf). I am enjoying it, my only problem is you`re not here to teach me. Until we meet again love Jan.L.
Hi Glenda,

Hello Glenda `ole`
With the 5 year anniversary of your passing I have to apologise for not writing words of feeling`s.....excuse is my life is `flat out like a lizard drinking the schooner without the glass` I see that Jan has communicated. I wanted to be up there on friday but my work committments do not allow such freedom as our rostering system is very complex being a government body.
Now I wil make some effort to visit early september as I will be free then.
Yes you are missed by many who loved having you around.....especially at Christmas & Easter. Hugs all round love sharyn your blood sister.
