Died suddenly in John Forrest National Park, Perth on 7th May 2008. Beloved husband of Carolyn, father of Stephen, Catherine and Nadine. Father-in-law of Eoin Rothery and Sean O`Dowd. Poppy of Mathew Chalmers, Lily O`Dowd, Fergus O`Dowd (dec) and Aoife Rothery, brother of Margaret Eccleston (dec), Tom Chalmers (dec) and Sandra Boyden, brother-in-law of John and Joan Mitchell, Rick and Cheryl Alterator, John and Margaret Alterator, Colin Eccleston, Mavis Chalmers and uncle to their Families. A Private Funeral was held in Perth W.A. on 13th May 2008.

A Memorial Service will be held at St Peter`s Anglican Church, East Maitland on Thursday 12th June at 11.00am.
