A loving husband and best friend of CHRIS, adored father and father-in-law of ANGELA and JASON, MICHAEL and SALLY-ANNE, SIMON and ALEXANDRA, JENNY, NICK, BEC, and an incredible poppy to MILLY and TOM. Much loved brother of JANET (dec`d) and HELEN.

TERRY`s Family and Friends were invited to attend a Celebration of his life  held in St Columban`s Catholic Church, Church Street Mayfield on Thursday 28.4.2011 commencing at 10am. A private cremation  followed this Service.

I first met Terry when he was my teacher in Year 8, many years ago. I then had the thrill of meeting him again in my first year of teaching at Waratah High where he was my Head Teacher.  After we both moved on from there whenever I ran into Terry he was full of chat and just a good person to see.

I`m sorry that I can`t make the service today but just wanted to send my condolences and thoughts.

I was saddened by the news of Terry’s Passing. Terry was a great head teacher and a  very understanding, warm and caring person. We lost touch after I left Waratah High and moved to Wine Country, but I often though of the comrades still at Callaghan and the many good times we shared. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service today, but I will certainly raise a glass or two in memory of these good times and Terry’s significant contribution in so many fields.
