Born December 30, 1952, Waverley, Australia
Died June 4, 2011 after a long illness but peacefully at Canberra Hospital,

aged 58.

Defence Security Specialist, Army Reservist and humorist with a thirst for knowledge that never ceased to amaze us.

Life for John was one big long lunch and he lived life very well.

Deeply missed by his loving partner Ingrid Mitchell,his beautiful daughter Jemma Hooson and partner Adam Bice, grandsons Lathan and Jensen and his son Timothy White.
Greatly missed by his brother Gary Maher and wife Lesley.
Also missed by his father Wal Maher and his adoring mother Jean (deceased).

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend the memorial service for JOHN to be held in The Marquee, Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club, Alexandrina Drive, Yarralumla, Canberra,on Saturday (June 11, 2011) commencing at 10am.
