"Go Tarra"

The relatives and friends of Ken (Bull) were invited to attend his funeral service  held at The Northcliffe Chapel of Hansen & Cole, 634 Northcliffe Drive, Kembla Grange on Thursday June 16, 2011  which commenced at 12 noon.

To the Landrigan Family,

My sincerest condolences to all those associated with Ken.

He was a true Tarra stalwart and the best soccer player I ever had the privilege of playing with (all those years ago).

He single-handedly won the Under 18 NSW State Championship title in Sydney against Manly when he scored four second half goals after winning the Country Championship against Newcastle at Corrimal Rangers home field. That great Illawarra team was represented by ten players from the Tarrawanna Junior Soccer Club which also was the Under 18 Illawarra Champion that same year, 1965.

As an all-round sportsman Ken was in addition the Balgownie Cricket Club’s “Player of the Year” back in the 1979-1980 season when I also had the pleasure of playing with him.

He will be very much missed by all those that came into contact with a terrific Australian and a person I will always remember as a real friend.

God Bless, Terry Waterman & Family (now living in Orange County, California, USA).
