Peacefully at home on August 16 2011, aged 81 years, after a brief illness with his daughters to the end. Loved and loving husband of Jeanne (dec, 2006). Loved and loving father of Susan and Rosemary and loving father-in-law of Simon

Dad, you worked yourself so hard for everyone else, especially for us.
I was always so proud of you - I could not have had a better Dad. Finally now at rest without hurt.

Dad, there are no words for my sadness or to say how much I love you. Life is empty without your love, strength and humour.

Your "Kid" Rosemary

A wonderfully kind and generous man, devoted to his family and his horses. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched.
