WALKER, Sean David

WALKER, Sean David.

`Death is the end of a lifetime, not the end of a relationship`.

Sean, aged 31, died Saturday, December 20, 2003 at his home.
Sean fought a very long battle with a depressive illness from a very young age which proved very difficult to diagnose. This illness precipitated a number of tragedies which heightened his suffering.
Throughout Sean`s life, he cared for others in distress and gave his love to so many, particularly
children whose faces would light up when he entered a room.

When not depressed, he lived life at full-throttle through travel, sport, music and `doing`. He was sensitive, intelligent, brave, gutsy, made people laugh, loved and was loved intensely. When
depressed the black hole was bottomless and fear and chaos reigned.
He will live in the lives of those who really knew and loved him through the highs and the
lows.
Goodbye Sean, you will be dearly missed by Kate, the other great loves of your life, your
loving parents Marilyn and Frank, `special` Aunty Adrienne, two `pool instructors`, the bearers of chicken soup, close family relatives, Sam and other counsellors, the extended families of which you were part, friends and those whose lives you`ve touched.
Sean, you have left this world with courage and the hope of something better.

SEAN`S family and friends are cordially invited to attend his funeral service, which will be
conducted at Prince Henry Hospital Chapel, Anzac Parade, Little Bay, Tuesday (December 30, 2003), commencing at 10 a.m. Following the service the funeral cortege will proceed to the Eastern Suburbs Crematorium, Military Road, Matraville. Sean would ask that depression
would be understood as a major illness which can be treated.

He was getting better but time just ran out.
