In lieu of flowers donations may Be left at the chapel for the Royal Life Saving Society.

To all Tonys family both Greg, myself and Johanna send our deepest wishes to you all for your loss. Tony will be greatly missed from our street, whether it be sitting on the verandah, buzzing past in the car and just giving a wave or sitting in the recliner and listening of stories of past, travels and where next. Just recently when i was talking to him he was awaiting the car and going to visit his nephew which he appeared to have a great connection and respect for. He was a planner; and loved to do it his way. That was just Tony. We had always planned to go and sit at Tanilba Bay house one day and listen to the classical guitarist and have a devonshire tea but time passed or circumstances prevailed. I will make an effort to go and sit on the verandah and have a cup of tea and a scone for you. You are in peace now, no more struggling and you have left a legacy behind and many memeories and diverse memeories as encountered at your funeral. Many leave this world in passing and not having impacted on others to a great extent apart from family. But Tony you did make a difference and you were a great listening ear. I am so glad you and Norm connected as friends; i think you both helped each other out. And it is great to see the connection and the support that your family have provided to him in his period of sadness. You left the world leaving a footprint; some to see, others to mentor from and giving faith that the community of the neighbourhood street still can be like in the old days where others chose and still do care.

my grand father not onli my best mate you stuck by me thick and thin told me wrong from right but now I look back he shapped my life to who I am today you were a great insperation not only to me but to all that new you I will allways rember you no matter what I love you grumps and I just wish you were here today mate I will allways cherish the time I spent with you and think back to the fun memories
